Our Story
Founded in Gweru in 2013, Nheri Consulting emerged from a critical realization: many Zimbabwean organizations were operating in maintenance mode rather than growth mode. While traditional management systems maintained operations, they often failed to unlock innovation, funding opportunities, and long-term sustainability.
We believe organizations need Strategic Entrepreneurs — leaders who combine disciplined management with innovation, adaptability, and opportunity-driven thinking. Our role is to bridge this gap by strengthening systems, building capacity, and enabling organizations to achieve resilience in complex environments.
Today, we partner with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), SMEs, and development initiatives across Zimbabwe to design strategies, build MEAL systems, mobilize resources, and strengthen governance structures that deliver measurable impact.

Fortune Tanaka Hove brings extensive experience in organizational development, monitoring and evaluation systems, SME growth, and resource mobilization. His professional journey includes work with institutions such as ZCSME, SMEAZ, and JHWO, where he supported enterprise development, youth empowerment initiatives, and program implementation.
He combines entrepreneurial discipline with development sector expertise, enabling organizations to strengthen systems while remaining adaptive to funding and market opportunities.
